
Jamison Newlander was born April 2, 1970 in Woodland Hills, California. He began his acting career under the name Jamie Jamison, and appeared in many stage productions in and around Los Angeles. He attended Beverly Hills High, and New York University Tisch School of the Arts from 1988 to 1992. He majored in Drama and was in the Circle in the Square studio for two years and the Practical Aesthetics Workshop studio for two years. He graduated with the degree Bachelor of Fine Arts, Drama, in June 1992. Jamison has also attended and studied in numerous other acting and stage classes over the years. Currently, Jamison lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Hanny Landau, whom he married in 2002.
